![]() ![]() Thank you to our representatives of the Village of Ridgewood and Village Council for attending and sharing a delicious dinner with our seniors and reading the “I am thankful for…” notes. Thank you to Ben Franklin Middle School and Ridgewood High School students for the beautiful music played during the dinner. My sincerest appreciation to the student volunteers from George Washington Middle School for setting-up, serving food, and cleaning up after the event. Thank you to our supporting organizations for participating in the event and getting the word out to our seniors Ridgecrest Senior Housing, S.H.A.R.E., Inc., Neighborcare and Age Friendly Ridgewood, who also donated “goodie bags”. Whether it was searching for a venue, decorating, food prep and cooking, publicity, volunteer help, transportation needs, registration or craft preparation, as a whole, it came together without reservation. Thank you to Nancy Bigos, Stacey Antine, Gwenn Hauck, Sue Ullrich, Marianne Bennett, Siobhan Winograd, Janet Fricke, Sheila Brogan and Beth Abbott. Third, the event would never have gotten off the ground without those who sat on the Giving Thanks – Ridgewood Elder Dinner Committee. Your generosity made it possible for all to attend, free of charge. ![]() Thank you, personally for hosting the dinner for all of our senior residents and volunteers. ![]() Next, I would like to thank Reverend Robert Miller and staff of the Old Paramus Reformed Church in Ridgewood for the generous donation of the Fellowship Hall and use of the tables, chairs and sound system. No Fuss Lunch provided the commercial kitchen space to chop, prep and store the food needed for the event. Thank you for supplying a delicious and nutritious Thanksgiving dinner for over 100 senior residents. Stacey secured food donations from Whole Foods Market, Hesperides Organica and The Kapur Family, in honor of their father. You can find a small selection of our produce at Whole Foods Grocery Stores across the Valley and a full selection at the Scottsdale Farmers Market on Saturdays. We grow 100% of the produce we offer and are extremely proud to be certified organic. We have been farming in sunny Arizona since 1995.
